Epson India has announced the launch of the Monna Lisa ML-18000, its newest innovation in the digital textile printing space. Launched on June 19, 2025, in Bengaluru, the printer is tailored for high-volume production, combining precision, speed, sustainability, and smart connectivity—addressing the evolving needs of the global textile industry.
Equipped with 18 Epson PrecisionCore® MicroTFP printheads, the ML-18000 offers production speeds of up to 252 sqm/h in 2-pass mode while maintaining exceptional print quality. A key highlight is its double black ink configuration, which enhances black density and optical depth, making it especially suited for dark tones and monochrome designs across fashion, home décor, and soft signage applications.
As a sustainable innovation, the printer integrates an in-built water recycling system to conserve water during the belt-cleaning process, aligning with Epson’s commitment to eco-conscious manufacturing. It also utilizes GENESTA Reactive Inks, which are ECO PASSPORT certified and GOTS-approved, making it compatible with global green textile standards.
Additional features include:
- Epson Precision Dot Technology for smoother gradients
- Symmetrical color alignment and high-resolution output
- Automated maintenance tools, including auto nozzle verification and RGB camera calibration
- Dual 10-liter ink tanks for uninterrupted printing
- Epson Cloud Solution PORT for remote performance tracking
The ML-18000 supports various fabrics—silk, cotton, polyester, blends—and is ideal for sectors including haute couture, fast fashion, sportswear, and home textiles.
