Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 Strengthens Global Reach and Eco Focus
Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 once again proved its importance as a global platform for the yarn and fibre sector. The event attracted over 22,000 visitors from 111 countries and regions, along with nearly 580 exhibitors. It reinforced its position as a key venue for textile innovation, trade, and sustainability.
Held alongside three major fairs, the Expo offered an integrated marketplace where global buyers explored natural, synthetic, specialty, and sustainable yarns and fibres. The exhibition also focused on eco-friendly materials and modern production technologies, showcasing how sustainability drives the future of textiles.
“Each edition of Yarn Expo shows how its solid reputation connects both established and emerging industry players,” said Ms. Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “By linking sustainability-driven solutions with market demand, Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 pushes the textile sector forward with creativity and resilience.”
A Strong Platform for Collaboration and Trade
The show featured six product zones and an International Yarn Zone, highlighting diverse, innovative, and eco-conscious yarns. Exhibitors such as Docotton Group AS (Türkiye), PT Dan Liris (Indonesia), and Rutex GmbH (Germany) attracted strong attention with advanced, sustainable materials.
In addition, pavilions from India, Pakistan, and Taiwan presented regional expertise and supported cross-border partnerships. This diversity enriched the event’s global dimension. Visitors included spinners, knitters, apparel brands, and industry professionals from all parts of the textile value chain.
The Expo ran concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value. Together, these fairs created a one-stop sourcing destination, encouraging collaboration across industry segments. This synergy allowed participants to exchange ideas, identify new trends, and establish lasting business connections.
Innovation and Learning Take Center Stage
A vibrant fringe programme added value through knowledge-sharing and inspiration. Highlights included the Tongkun – China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone and the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum. Both events provided deep insights into fibre innovation, material trends, and sustainability efforts, helping companies stay future-ready.
