The LYCRA Company has entered into a strategic partnership with Texhong International Group Limited to expand the use of renewable fiber solutions in China. The agreement covers the introduction of Renewable LYCRA® fiber with 30% plant-based content* into the core-spun yarn sector. The collaboration targets increased adoption of bio-derived materials within the textile industry.
The LYCRA Company, a provider of sustainable fiber solutions, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Texhong International Group Limited, a supplier of core-spun cotton textiles. Under the terms of the agreement, Texhong will act as the exclusive partner for The LYCRA Company in bringing Renewable LYCRA® fiber made with 30% plant-based content* to China’s core-spun yarn market.
The partnership is intended to support the integration of bio-derived spandex into textile manufacturing processes and expand its application across apparel and related sectors.

The Renewable LYCRA® fiber referenced in the agreement contains 30% renewable content, which is to be confirmed through third-party testing.
