Alva Industries will participate in the Robotics Summit & Expo 2026, scheduled for May 27–28 at the Menino Convention and Exposition Center. During the event, the company will present its advanced SlimTorq™ frameless motor technology alongside live demonstrations and interactive engineering discussions.
Visitors at booth #440 will be able to explore SlimTorq™, described as one of the thinnest and lightest frameless motor solutions available for robotics and intelligent motion systems. The company will also showcase its proprietary FiberPrinting™ technology, designed to support highly flexible motor manufacturing with compact form factors and improved thermal efficiency.
Focus on Robotics and Precision Motion
The Robotics Summit & Expo is recognized as a major industry gathering for commercial robotics and intelligent systems, attracting more than 6,000 engineers, developers, and decision-makers from sectors such as aerospace, healthcare, logistics, defense, and manufacturing.
At the exhibition, Alva will display multiple SlimTorq™ motor variants, enabling visitors to evaluate different sizes and configurations for robotics applications including collaborative robotic arms, exoskeletons, robotic joints, and precision positioning systems.
The motors feature slotless, frameless designs optimized for:
- High torque density
- Low cogging performance
- Compact radial integration
- Lightweight construction
Evaluation samples will be available for hands-on testing, while Alva’s technical team will provide direct guidance on integration and application requirements.
FiberPrinting™ Technology on Display
The company will also highlight its FiberPrinting™ stator manufacturing technology, which allows motors to be produced in nearly any shape or size while maintaining minimal axial footprint and strong thermal performance.
A live interactive motor demonstration will run throughout the event, giving attendees practical insight into the capabilities of the technology in real-world motion applications.
“Robotics engineers are working with tighter constraints and higher performance requirements than ever before. Flexibility that guarantees Design Freedom is one of the most important challenges in component selection. SlimTorq™ is a direct answer to that challenge, and Boston is the right place to have that conversation. We look forward to showing what Alva can do in practice”
-Dr. Nicolas Giraudo, Chief Commercial Officer, Alva Industries.
