Encouraging social concerns in the textile and apparel industry
On February 17, 25 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, Mr. N D Mhatre, Director General (Tech) of ITAMMA, accepted the award from Ms. Prajakta L. Verma, IAS, Joint Secretary and Mr. Mukesh Gulati, Executive Director, Foundation for MSME Clusters; Mr. Rakesh Mehra, Chairman; Ms. Chandrima Chatterjee, Secretary General, CITI; and Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, (IA&AS), Textile Commissioner, Ministry of Textiles, Government of India. 16 of the approximately 135 applications that were reviewed in different categories made the short list for different awards.
