As workwear requirements evolve, manufacturers are focusing on garments that combine durability with wearer comfort and functionality. NILIT, drawing on its background in athleticwear, outerwear, and fashion apparel, has developed a new collection of technical fabrics and garment concepts tailored for workwear applications.
“The workwear market requires well-designed, multi-functional apparel that not only handles the demands of the workplace but supports the wearer with technical features that contribute to productivity, mental and physical comfort, and overall wellness,” says Sagee Aran, NILIT’s Chief Commercial Officer.
The fabrics are marketed under NILIT’s SENSIL® brand and incorporate technologies designed for thermal regulation, moisture management, odor control, muscle support, and resistance to abrasion and tearing. According to the company, the products are manufactured with consideration for sustainability and aim to support circularity in line with evolving global regulations.
“While NILIT has always served the workwear market, we are now leveraging our proven expertise in athleticwear and fashion apparel into new workwear concepts that truly stand out for excellent performance, aesthetics, and durability,” continues Aran.
The new fabric range and garment concepts will be displayed at NILIT’s booth during Techtextil Frankfurt. Partner mills including Concordia, Getzner, Edelweiss, Alto Milanese, FOV, IBQ, and Sofileta will also present the materials.
The fabrics are intended for use across multiple workwear segments, including corporate uniforms, hospitality, food service, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, first responders, and military applications.
