Joint venture will develop a green garment manufacturing facility in India with an initial investment of approximately INR 186 crore
RSWM Limited, the flagship company of the LNJ Bhilwara Group and one of India’s leading textile manufacturers, has entered into a Joint Venture Agreement with Barcelona-based Noize Design Studio (NDS9) to establish LNJ NDS9 Global Private Limited.
RSWM Limited and NDS9 will hold equity in the joint venture in a 74:26 ratio, respectively. The joint venture will establish India’s first Next-Generation Industry 5.0 garment manufacturing facility, with an initial investment of approximately INR 186 crore.
The integrated garment manufacturing platform will focus on premium denim and activewear for leading international apparel brands, combining design, product development and manufacturing capabilities.
Industry 5.0 Facility to Integrate Advanced Technologies
The proposed facility will be developed as a green garment manufacturing platform based on Industry 5.0 principles.
It will integrate advanced automation, latest-generation technology, digital manufacturing, artificial intelligence, sustainability and human-centric operations as part of its manufacturing approach.
The project will be developed in two phases. Phase 1 will have an installed capacity of 500,000 denim garments per month.
Phase 2 will add an additional 10,00,000 denim/activewear garments per month, taking the total installed production capacity to 1.5 million garments per month.
The initial investment for Phase 1 is estimated at approximately INR 186 crore.
RSWM to Lead Manufacturing Operations
Under the agreement, RSWM Limited will lead manufacturing, plant operations, procurement, quality systems and supply chain management, leveraging its expertise in textiles and apparel manufacturing.
NDS9 will lead design, trend forecasting, sales and marketing, product development, merchandising, customer engagement and international business development, drawing on its design studios and fashion expertise across Europe, North America and Asia.

Project Structured for Denim and Knits

The project will therefore begin with denim, followed by knits, with rooftop solar incorporated from the beginning.
