EFI Unveils Textile and Print Innovations at FESPA 2026

EFI is set to showcase a broad portfolio of new digital printing technologies at FESPA Global Print Expo 2026 in Barcelona, highlighting innovations across display graphics, packaging and textile printing aimed at boosting productivity, print quality and sustainability.

At the event, EFI will unveil several new hybrid, roll-to-roll and textile inkjet systems, including the EFI VUTEk M3h X and EFI VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8, both making their public debut. The company will also demonstrate the EFI VUTEk X5r and EFI VUTEk Q3h XP.

According to Frank Pennisi, the latest portfolio is designed to help print providers expand application capabilities while improving operational flexibility and profitability. He said the systems are built to support changing customer needs across signage, soft signage, superwide production and premium display printing.

The VUTEk M3h X hybrid printer is designed for sign and display producers seeking higher-volume production. It offers board and roll printing in a single system, white ink support, multilayer printing up to nine layers and energy-efficient LED curing, helping reduce production costs while increasing turnaround speed.

EFI also introduced the VUTEk FabriVU 340 i8, a 3.4-metre eight-colour dye sublimation printer aimed at textile and soft signage applications. The printer supports a wider colour gamut, including challenging Pantone shades, and enables direct printing and sublimation on polyester materials in a single step, making it suitable for retail signage, lightboxes and event displays.

The VUTEk Q3h XP, displayed in a new seven-colour configuration, is positioned for high-end hybrid production environments. EFI said the system delivers premium quality for retail graphics, exhibitions and backlit displays, with optional white and clear ink support.

For high-volume roll printing, the VUTEk X5r brings advanced workflow automation, including AI-based quality control through EFI’s InSpec AI system. The technology scans printed output in real time, identifies defects and reduces reprints, supporting improved efficiency and lower waste.

EFI is also showcasing its single-pass digital inkjet solutions through the EFI Nozomi platform for signage and corrugated packaging. In textile printing, the company highlighted the EFI Reggiani ecoTERRA and EFI Reggiani ecoNEXT Plus, designed to simplify direct-to-fabric printing while reducing water, energy and chemical use.

The showcase underlines EFI’s focus on digital transformation, sustainable production and helping print providers access new revenue streams in an increasingly competitive market.
