Dear Industry Partner,

MAHARASHTRA GREEN INFRASTRUCTURE CONCLAVE 2025

“Viksit Bharat 2047 – Maharashtra’s Green Yatra to USD 1 Trillion GSDP by 2028”{Thursday MARCH 27, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. at World Trade Centre, Cuffe Parade, Mumbai}

Maharashtra is widely recognized as the “Hub of Business and Infrastructure” in India and serves as a key driver of the nation’s economic growth. As India’s leading state in terms of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), Maharashtra has established itself as a powerhouse with its thriving business ecosystem, strategic location, well-developed industrial base, and robust infrastructure network—comprising ports, airports, highways, railways, and urban transit systems. Additionally, the state benefits from a large and skilled workforce, further solidifying its position as a preferred investment destination.

However, to sustain and accelerate this growth trajectory, Maharashtra must rapidly develop and upgrade its infrastructure—particularly in the domains of roadways, highways, maritime infrastructure, railways, airports, urban development, and public transportation. At this critical juncture, Maharashtra faces the dual challenge of expanding its infrastructure to meet increasing demands while ensuring environmental sustainability. As rapid urbanization continues, the need for green, resilient, and future-ready infrastructure has never been more urgent.
