
March 27, 2025, Abu Dhabi/Gujaram Start-up for B2B manufacturing and supply chain facilitation Groyyo reports that, as part of its growth in the US retail and fashion sector, it has paid an undisclosed amount to buy a 51 percent ownership in Oussum Inc., a US-based company.
The business will collaborate closely to expand private labels that operate in the US through offline and online channels under the names “Oussum” and “Gypsie Blu.” Although the brands are now available for purchase at Target, Walmart, Burlington, and TJ Maxx stores throughout the United States, Groyyo will intensify its efforts to expand their reach to platforms and retail locations throughout North America and the United States.
“We have been developing a backward integrated SME supply chain for fashion and apparel across South Asia for the past four years,” said Subin Mitra, co-founder and CEO of Groyyo, in response to the move. We think the time is right now more than ever to delve deeper and provide an end-to-end shelf-to-warehouse solution to clients throughout the United States, given the rise and dominance of fast fashion in the country.”
The combined US operations have been expanding quickly, and we plan to close in March 2025 with USD 8 million in revenue, he continued. By FY28, we plan to reach a revenue scale of USD 100 million. In order to provide fashion designers and retailers in the US with an end-to-end design to warehousing solution, we will also keep utilising our robust sourcing base throughout South Asia, which has been further reinforced by our network of warehouses around the US.”
