Truetzschler India Launches State-of-the-Art Plant in Sanand
On May 5, 2025, Truetzschler India—a subsidiary of the renowned German textile machinery group Trützschler—officially inaugurated its new ₹400 crore manufacturing plant in Sanand, near Ahmedabad. This major investment reflects the company’s long-term vision for India and its expanding role in the global textile machinery market.

The inauguration was attended by Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Bhai Patel, MP Shri Parshottam Ji Rupala, Sanand MLA Kanubhai Patel, and Mr. Achim Fabig, Consulate General of Germany. Also present were shareholders, company leadership, and team members from India and Germany.
This new facility, developed over three years on a 42-acre plot, consolidates operations previously housed in Lambha and offers nearly double the manufacturing capacity. It features cutting-edge automation, smart digital systems, and climate-controlled workspaces—boosting quality, efficiency, and employee well-being.
With around 1,200 direct and indirect jobs supported and room for future expansion, the Sanand facility is now Truetzschler’s largest and most advanced plant worldwide. The event also marked the launch of the company’s latest innovation—the TC26i Intelligent Carding Machine.
