TI World Conference 2025 to Focus on Sustainability in Porto
The Textile Institute has announced that its 93rd World Conference will take place from October 7–10, 2025, at the Porto Palácio Hotel and Spa in Porto, Portugal.
Under the theme “Fibre to Future – Transforming Fashion and Textiles through Sustainability,” the event will explore how sustainability and digitalization are revolutionizing the textile industry, from raw material development to end-of-life solutions.
The conference will gather global experts, academics, and policymakers to share insights on reducing environmental impact, cutting waste, and implementing zero-carbon strategies. Key sessions will also address how digital tools are driving greater transparency and efficiency across the value chain.
“This year’s conference aims to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and build a shared vision for a sustainable textile future,” said CEO Stephanie Dick. Notably, the 2025 event is hosted by Portuguese textile chemical specialist AQUITEX—marking the first time a company will host the global event.
