Aster DM Healthcare to Build 430-Bed Hospital in Bengaluru
Aster DM Healthcare has announced plans to invest ₹480 crore in a new 430-bed multispecialty hospital in Sarjapur, Bengaluru. The facility, covering 4 lakh square feet, will be constructed in two phases—300 beds will be operational by the second half of FY 2026-27, with the remaining 130 beds added by FY 2028-29.
This will be Aster’s fourth multispecialty hospital in the city, reinforcing its commitment to expanding quality healthcare access in Bengaluru’s key urban zones. The new hospital will offer a full range of medical services with a strong focus on oncology, aiming to enhance cancer care from the start.
Dr. Azad Moopen, Founder and Chairman of Aster DM Healthcare, emphasized that the Sarjapur facility aligns with the company’s broader strategy to strengthen its presence in vital urban markets and meet rising demand for specialized healthcare in South-East Bengaluru.
The investment marks a significant step in Aster’s mission to build robust healthcare infrastructure and deliver advanced medical care across Southern India.
