Tokyo, May 19, 2025 — Teijin Frontier Co., Ltd. has introduced a groundbreaking polyester fabric that blends the refined look and feel of natural fibers with advanced comfort and performance features. Designed using the company’s proprietary spinning technology, the fabric is made from 100% recycled polyester and is tailored for casual and fashion apparel in the Spring/Summer 2026 season.
The new fabric features a distinctive four-lobed, flat cross-section yarn with random thickness variations, creating a naturally elegant texture and visual depth similar to traditional fibers. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, it offers a host of performance benefits:
