At the Paris Air Show, Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS (KONGSBERG) and HEXCEL Corporation formalized a long-term partnership agreement for the supply of HexWeb® engineered honeycombs and HexPly® prepregs. The agreement supports KONGSBERG’s strategic production programs and spans a five-year period.
HEXCEL, a globally recognized leader in advanced composite materials and lightweighting solutions for the aerospace industry, offers a diverse and expanding range of products. Its portfolio includes materials tailored for defence and space, commercial aerospace, and industrial applications.
Terje Bråthen, Executive Vice President of Aerostructures & MRO at Kongsberg, stated:
