Fundamentally, a Mexico City-based slow fashion community platform, and Green Story, a global environmental data leader, have launched “Fundamentally Green Metrics – LATAM”, a pioneering pilot program that brings powerful sustainability tools to small and medium-sized fashion producers across Latin America.
The initiative equips selected fashion brands with access to AI-powered environmental tools, including Digital Product Passports (DPPs) and carbon footprint assessments. It aims to help them navigate rising global sustainability regulations and enhance traceability—key for export readiness and global competitiveness.
Green Story will provide technical tools and data insights, while Fundamentally anchors the project in regional realities, enabling localized adoption. The program includes one year of free access to Green Story’s platform, unlimited DPPs, training resources, and promotional visibility, supported through a regional subsidy to reduce financial barriers.
The pilot will initially support 30 Latin American brands, focusing on traceability, verified impact, and scalable circularity. If successful, the model will expand to support broader adoption across the region.
