Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has extended heartfelt thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Textile Minister Giriraj Singh for initiating infrastructure development for the Pradhan Mantri Mitra Park in Madhya Pradesh’s Dhar district. He stated that this significant step will mark a new chapter for the state’s textile industry and fast-track its overall development.

The development work for the first phase of the PM Mitra Park has officially begun, with the Central Government issuing tenders worth ₹773 crore. The park is being established on a 2,158-acre site in Dhar at an estimated total cost of ₹2,050 crore. The commencement of construction represents a major milestone in the project’s implementation.

Chief Minister Dr. Yadav described the PM Mitra Park as transformative for the textile sector in Madhya Pradesh. “This gift from Prime Minister Modi will undoubtedly spark a new phase of growth for Madhya Pradesh’s textile industry,” he affirmed. The park is designed to offer robust infrastructure and a comprehensive industrial ecosystem to attract investment, foster innovation, and promote textile manufacturing.

Beyond industrial development, the park is expected to play a critical role in generating substantial employment opportunities, especially benefiting local residents and the youth. Dr. Yadav emphasized that the initiative would enhance the state’s economic profile and support its transition into a developed and industrially forward state.

With its 2,158-acre expanse, PM Mitra Park is set to emerge as a flagship hub for textiles. The Central Government’s commitment of over ₹2,000 crore signals strong confidence in Madhya Pradesh’s capabilities as a future leader in India’s textile and manufacturing domain. The project is also aligned with the state’s broader industrial policy goals focused on sustainable and diversified growth.
