The 13th edition of OSH India Expo, South Asia’s largest occupational safety and health event, opened today at the Bombay Exhibition Centre with over 170 exhibitors, 300+ brands, and 1,500+ products from 13 countries. The event attracted 9,000+ visitors, 150+ delegates, and more than 50 expert speakers, reinforcing its position as a key platform for driving workplace safety.
With the theme “Elevating HSE for a Globally Competitive Workforce”, OSH India 2025 spotlighted innovations across personal protective equipment (PPE), safety technologies, and health solutions. This year’s attractions included the Startup Pavilion, Innovation Zone, OSH Fashion Walk, OSH Everywhere campaign, OSH Gurukul Conference, and the prestigious 11th OSH India Awards.
Inaugurating the expo, Dr. Pramod Sawant, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Goa, emphasized that occupational safety is not just a legal requirement but a moral responsibility that directly contributes to productivity and national progress. He noted that India’s PPE market, valued at USD 2.7 billion in 2024, is projected to reach USD 4.7 billion by 2033, growing at nearly 6% CAGR, reflecting rising awareness and stronger compliance frameworks.
Industry leaders and government representatives echoed this sentiment, highlighting the importance of collaboration, innovation, and cultural change in strengthening India’s occupational safety ecosystem. Discussions emphasized how reforms like the OSH Code 2020, digital integration, and safety-focused policies are reshaping workplaces across sectors.
The event also underlined the role of technology, sustainability, and human capital development in creating safer work environments. With support from associations like SAMA, ITTA, IAOH, IPAF, NFEES, and AIAI, and CSR partnerships such as READ India, OSH India 2025 positioned itself as more than an exhibition—it became a movement advocating for a safer, healthier, and globally competitive workforce aligned with Viksit Bharat 2047.
