iNTERSPARE Showcases Econ-Air & Krantz Tech at ITMA Asia

At ITMA Asia + CITME 2025 in Singapore, German textile machinery manufacturer iNTERSPARE Textilmaschinen will demonstrate why its Econ-Air airflow system ensures the highest quality in textile finishing. The company will showcase its latest innovations at the VDMA joint stand (Hall 7 / Stand A104), including updated versions of the Krantz Syncro shrink dryer and the Krantz K30 stenter frame, highlighting their efficiency, modernization, and adaptability.

With a strong heritage of the ARTOS, BABCOCK (BTM), and Krantz product lines, iNTERSPARE continues to build on decades of expertise. Econ-Air plays a central role, delivering outstanding colour fastness, dimensional stability, and fabric feel, qualities highly valued in global markets.

The company has grown steadily as a textile finishing machinery producer, manufacturing Krantz, Artos, and Babcock machines in Germany. “As a textile machine manufacturer, we have established ourselves in the global markets,” says Dirk Polchow, Managing Director of iNTERSPARE. “Textile finishers see that we have delivered numerous stenter frames and shrink dryers in recent years and now believe in iNTERSPARE just as they believe in Krantz, Artos and Babcock. It has always been our aim to continue the tradition of these brands, and we are succeeding.”

Recently, iNTERSPARE secured a major order from India for four Krantz K30 8-field stenter frames and three Krantz Syncro shrink dryers, with the first units already en route and full delivery expected by mid-2026. Polchow reflected on customer trust: “Our customers want to impress their customers with their products. Best quality is required, and this is ensured with our machines. In the beginning, we were surprised when we visited customers and saw Krantz, Artos and Babcock machines still in heavy use after fifty and more years. We were assured that the machines were not only still being used very productively but were even the favorites for special requirements or challenging applications. This is feedback on durability that strengthens our own convictions.”

Asia remains a strategic focus for iNTERSPARE, particularly India, Sri Lanka, and Bangladesh, where the company has established a strong reputation through partnerships with local representatives like GLOBAL in India. “India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are very important markets for us, in which we want to continue to impress and from which we have received further orders,” says Polchow. “We are now considering expanding our production capacity with a new building. Fortunately, we still have enough space on our premises.”

The Econ-Air system also contributes to energy efficiency and CO₂ reduction, optimising heat and airflow to minimise energy waste while maintaining drying performance. Advanced insulation with 3-layer panels, rockwool filling, and anti-heat-bridge design further enhance efficiency.

The Krantz Syncro has been upgraded with new-generation motors, Lenze inverters, expanded measuring systems, improved software, and automatic filter cleaning technology. Industry-leading components and software integration ensure maximum reliability and energy efficiency.

Additionally, iNTERSPARE offers retrofitting and modernisation modules for thousands of installed Artos, Babcock, and Krantz machines worldwide, helping customers improve energy efficiency, reduce CO₂ footprint, and extend machine life with updated controls, operating systems, and spare parts. At ITMA Asia, experts will demonstrate these upgrade solutions.

iNTERSPARE looks forward to welcoming visitors at Hall 7 / Stand A104 at the VDMA joint booth.
