Global Textile Days 2025 Showcases Innovation & Trade

Global Textile Days 2025, held as part of Uzbekistan Textile Week from September 9–11 at the Uzexpocentre National Exhibition Complex, marked the opening of Iteca Exhibitions’ 30th anniversary autumn season. The large-scale event featured three major platforms:

  • The 16th Central Asian International Exhibition of Equipment and Technologies for the Textile, Garment, and Knitwear Industry – CAITME 2025
  • The 25th Anniversary International Exhibition of Textile and Garment Industry – TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025
  • A comprehensive Business Programme with B2B meetings, presentations, and panel discussions

The exhibition welcomed more than 250 companies and brands from 22 countries—including Austria, China, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Korea, Turkiye, the UK, the USA, and Uzbekistan—attracting over 6,000 professionals and more than 8,000 total visits across three days.

At CAITME 2025, exhibitors showcased a wide range of spinning, weaving, knitting, dyeing, and finishing solutions, along with cutting-edge sewing technologies such as automated systems and specialized software. The event’s General Sponsor, MAIB (Turkish Machinery Exporters Association), facilitated discussions on partnerships across its extensive network of 25,000 exporting firms.

CAITME once again featured leading international names such as Truetzschler, Groz-Beckert, Mahlo, Habasit, Vandewiele, Biancalani, Corino, Itema, Lafer, Mario Crosta, Motex Di Modiano Guido, Salvade`, Dilmenler, and Lakshmi Machine Works, alongside newcomers like Samatex, Smartex Europe, Unipessoal Lda, Ab Card Clothing, and Stylon. International exhibitors accounted for 82% of participants, with China, Turkiye, India, Italy, and Germany leading in numbers. Korea also hosted a National Pavilion supported by KOTMI.

One highlight came from Santoni, which unveiled three new knitting machines—Jingmei JFG, Santoni Zenit HS2, and Pilotelli JVCE-4—blending advanced European design with Asian efficiency. Exhibitor stands became active hubs of dialogue, with engineers and specialists addressing current industry challenges and sharing future-oriented solutions.

Innovation was central, with companies presenting energy-efficient machinery, advanced water treatment systems, automation-driven optimization, digital tools, and smart labelling solutions.

The 25th TextileExpo Uzbekistan Autumn 2025, celebrating its 25th edition, presented the complete textile and light industry spectrum—yarns, fabrics, knitwear, silk, home textiles, hosiery, dyes, chemicals, accessories, footwear, and packaging. As part of its Special Buyer Programme, over 100 global companies engaged in negotiations with Uzbek producers. Buyers from Azerbaijan, Germany, India, Russia, Turkiye, and Japan were among the key participants.

A featured partner, Qo‘qon Global Teks, founded in 2020, showcased its cotton fibre preparation and spinning expertise, meeting European quality benchmarks through modern equipment and rigorous testing. Long-standing exhibitors like Osborn Textile, Mogotex, and Daka-Tex Factory reaffirmed their presence, while newcomers such as Elegant Fiber Textile, Indigo Garments, and Eco Fabric Style introduced diverse offerings, from knitted fabrics and synthetic yarns to automotive textiles and finished garments.

The Business Programme carried the theme “Central Asia as a Manufacturing Hub: Resilience in the Face of Global Challenges.” Over three days, 14 expert speakers led 10 seminars on technologies, automation, and digitalization, emphasizing cost reduction, efficiency, and strategies for market expansion. Topics also included e-commerce growth in Russia and globally, AI in production, digital labelling, and energy-saving solutions.

The event received strong media and institutional coverage, with reports from 39 outlets, including government bodies, international organizations, and leading industry platforms.
