technotrans has secured a contract worth several million euros to provide high-precision liquid cooling systems for satellite ground stations, marking a significant contribution to the advancement of space communication technologies. These state-of-the-art systems will be deployed across a network of ground stations, ensuring stable and reliable data transmission essential for future space missions.
“With this project, we are operating at the highest technological level and once again demonstrating our leading engineering expertise,” stated Michael Finger, CEO of technotrans SE. “Our thermal management solutions play a critical role in guaranteeing reliable communication across vast distances of several hundred thousand kilometers.”
The initiative involves the installation of powerful satellite antennas at multiple Earth-based sites. These antennas require extremely precise thermal regulation, with temperature control accuracy of 0.1 Kelvin, to maintain uninterrupted communication with spacecraft.
To meet these demanding conditions, technotrans has engineered a customized liquid cooling system specifically for high-frequency antenna technology. Equipped with intelligent control systems, the solution ensures exact temperature stability at all times, enabling consistent and efficient transmission and reception of space communication data.
“Precision liquid cooling is becoming increasingly important. With our extensive experience, we continue to open up new, future-oriented applications,” added Michael Finger.
