Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 Strengthens Global Exchange and Eco Focus
Shanghai, 9 October 2025 — Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 reaffirmed its position as a premier sourcing event for the textile industry. It brought together over 22,000 visitors from 111 countries and nearly 580 exhibitors. Held alongside three major trade fairs, the event offered a complete sourcing hub featuring yarns, fibres, and sustainable innovations.
The show highlighted the textile industry’s commitment to sustainability. Many exhibitors presented eco-conscious materials and responsible production methods. This approach positioned the fair as a key driver in shaping a greener textile value chain.
“Each edition of Yarn Expo demonstrates how the fair’s strong foundation continues to attract established players and emerging innovators,” said Ms. Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd. “By connecting sustainability-driven solutions with global demand, Yarn Expo Autumn 2025 helped the industry move forward with both resilience and creativity.”
A Global Platform for Sourcing and Collaboration
Across six product zones and the International Yarn Zone, exhibitors displayed natural fibres, synthetic yarns, specialty materials, and sustainable options. Leading participants such as Docotton Group AS (Türkiye), PT Dan Liris (Indonesia), and Rutex GmbH (Germany) stood out for innovation and quality.
In addition, the fair featured country and region pavilions from India, Pakistan, and Taiwan, showcasing regional strengths and promoting cross-border partnerships. Visitors included spinners, knitters, and fashion brands, representing every link in the textile chain.
Held concurrently with Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics – Autumn Edition, CHIC, and PH Value, Yarn Expo encouraged collaboration across related sectors. This synergy made it easier for buyers to connect, source efficiently, and identify new business opportunities.
Innovation Zones Drive Industry Insight
The event’s fringe programme offered valuable learning experiences. Highlights included the Tongkun – China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone and the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum. These sessions presented the latest developments in fibre technology and downstream trends, helping participants stay ahead in a fast-evolving market.
