LANXESS India has earned three distinguished recognitions from the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), reaffirming its leadership in sustainable operations and safety excellence. The honors include the ICC–Vinati Organics Award for Excellence in Management of Health & Safety for its Jhagadia facility, along with two ICC–Epsilon Carbon Certificates of Merit under the Responsible Care initiative for being the Best Compliant Company in the categories of Security Code and Product Safety & Stewardship Code.
These accolades celebrate LANXESS India’s enduring dedication to safety, security, and environmental responsibility, showcasing its strong governance and adherence to global standards of responsible care.
The awards were presented by Shri Deepankar Aron, IRS, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals and Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India, at a ceremony held in Mumbai earlier this month.
Accepting the honors on behalf of the company were Namitesh Roy Choudhury, Vice Chairman and Managing Director, and Balaram Khot, Whole-time Director and Head of PTSE, LANXESS India. The two Certificates of Merit were received by Rajiv Gaur, VP – Head of Procurement & Logistics, and Naresh Mude, Head of Site Health, Safety, and Environment, Jhagadia.
