Knitex Dresses Ltd. Strengthens Quality with Mahlo Weft Straightener Installation

Bangladesh’s Knitex Dresses Ltd., a part of the Mondol Group, has taken another step toward enhancing fabric quality by adding a Mahlo Orthopac RVMC-15 weft straightener to its production line. The new system, installed by Tootal Quality Resources, is designed to correct fabric distortions during finishing and ensure precise alignment.

Founded in the late 2000s, Knitex Dresses Ltd. has developed into one of the country’s key knit composite manufacturers. Operating from two campuses in Sardagong, Gazipur, and Mirzapur, Tangail, the company manages the entire textile process under one roof—from knitting and dyeing to printing, finishing, and garment production. This fully integrated setup helps maintain strict quality control and operational efficiency.

With more than 2,500 employees, Knitex handles daily capacities of around 25,000 kilograms each in knitting and dyeing, along with a large volume of finished garments across multiple categories for international buyers. The company’s manufacturing approach places equal emphasis on product excellence, worker welfare, and environmental responsibility.

The Mahlo Orthopac RVMC-15 installation represents part of Knitex’s ongoing investment in advanced technology. The optical straightening system helps deliver uniform fabrics and reduce material waste, aligning with the company’s sustainability-driven goals.

Industry observers note that such upgrades reflect a broader trend in Bangladesh’s textile sector, where quality consistency and process optimisation are becoming central to global competitiveness. With this installation, Knitex Dresses Ltd. reinforces its position as a reliable partner for brands seeking responsible and high-performance knitwear production.
