FESPA has announced the expansion of its global association network with the inclusion of ASOINGRAF (Asociación de la Industria Gráfica Costarricense) as a new FESPA Association Member. ASOINGRAF is the national association representing the graphic arts and printing industry in Costa Rica. The membership was formally approved during the 2025 FESPA General Assembly, which was attended by Marco Vinicio Vargas Chevez, President of ASOINGRAF.
Established in 1987, ASOINGRAF represents a broad spectrum of companies and professionals operating within Costa Rica’s graphic arts and printing sector. The association plays a key role in industry development by organising Expográfica, the country’s leading trade exhibition for printing and graphic arts. In addition, ASOINGRAF delivers a range of professional training programmes, industry seminars, and awards ceremonies, with a strong emphasis on promoting sustainable practices and operational excellence within print and graphics businesses.

By joining FESPA, ASOINGRAF becomes part of the world’s largest global network of national printing and graphic arts associations. This collaboration is expected to enhance the exchange of technical expertise and market intelligence across Costa Rica and the wider Central American region. The partnership will also encourage the adoption of internationally recognised standards related to process optimisation, colour management, production efficiency, and environmental performance—areas that align closely with FESPA’s established knowledge-sharing platforms.
Daniel Sunderland, President of FESPA and Vice President of Canagraf, FESPA’s local Association in Mexico, comments:
“Welcoming ASOINGRAF as a FESPA Association Member strengthens our global reach and deepens our representation in Central America. I am excited to seeing how FESPA can support the Costa Rican print community through ASOINGRAF’s local events and initiatives. By working with ASOINGRAF, FESPA is able to further share knowledge, drive innovation and strengthen its global community.”
As a FESPA Association Member, ASOINGRAF will actively participate in FESPA-led events, working groups, and sustainability initiatives. Its contributions will represent the perspectives and requirements of print businesses in Costa Rica and across Central America, delivering valuable insights that will support and benefit the broader international FESPA community.
