FESPA Corrugated 2026 Announces Speaker Line-Up

FESPA, in collaboration with Brunton Publications, has announced an impressive roster of speakers for its first-ever Corrugated event, scheduled from 19–22 May 2026 at the Gran Via venue, Fira de Barcelona.

Taking place in Hall 3, Stand B162, the complimentary Corrugated Conference will provide industry professionals with valuable insights into emerging trends, key challenges, and technological advancements shaping the corrugated sector, which is currently experiencing rapid digital, regulatory, and technological changes.

Day One: Embracing Digital Transformation
On 19 May, sessions will focus on the ongoing digital evolution within the industry. A roundtable discussion featuring experts from leading companies such as HP, EFI, Koenig & Bauer, and Kento will explore advancements in print technology.
Stefan Liversidge of OPSWAT will address the growing importance of cybersecurity in safeguarding production systems and supply chains. Meanwhile, Christian Vionnet from BOBST will examine whether the rapid growth of e-commerce is sustainable in the long term.

Day Two: Advancing Operations Through Innovation and Talent
The focus on 20 May will shift to improving operational efficiency. Thomas Orthax of Packitoo will highlight how AI can streamline automation, configuration, and pricing processes.
Lorenzo de la Mora of Gran Via Brewery and Javier Quesada of Kento will present a case study comparing digital, analogue, and hybrid technologies in packaging production.
Jo Stephenson will discuss strategies to attract and retain young talent in response to workforce challenges, while David Preskett of Kongsberg Precision Cutting Systems will explore how evolving business needs are driving advancements in production technologies.

Day Three: Addressing Sustainability and Regulations
The final sessions will concentrate on sustainability and regulatory developments. Dr Aaron Yeardley from Tunley Environmental will discuss ESRS E5 and circular economy principles related to raw materials.
Evert Delbanco of Flint Group will provide insights into regulatory changes affecting inks, coatings, and other materials, while Ian Bates of NOA Ltd will outline future opportunities in the European corrugated market, focusing on material innovation and scalable fibre solutions.

Nick Kirby of Zeus Packaging and Corrugated Ambassador for FESPA highlighted the event’s importance, stating that it will bring together industry experts to explore innovations, trends, and new business opportunities across corrugated, print, and signage sectors.

The inaugural Corrugated event will take place from 19–22 May 2026 at Fira de Barcelona.
