Precision Textiles announced on 13 May 2026 that its Arizona manufacturing and distribution facility is recording higher operational activity, supported by recent full-scale open-flame mattress burn testing. The facility was established in 2021 to expand production capacity and support customers located on the West Coast.
The 60,000-square-foot site produces FR and non-FR highloft materials used in mattress panels and borders. Additional products manufactured at the facility include Endure FR stitchbond, IQ Fit GlassFree socks and caps, FR-backed laminated borders, and PurLoft Organic batting.
During February, the company conducted a full-scale mattress burn test program involving multiple latex mattresses using PurLoft Organic produced at the Arizona facility. The tests were conducted under CFR 1633 and included several constructions with elevated fuel loads. According to the company, the tests showed consistent performance across the evaluated builds.
The company stated that the facility supports its technical work in CFR 1633 compliance, helping mattress manufacturers address flammability requirements through full-scale open-flame testing for high-fuel-load mattress applications.
Keith Martin said, “The Arizona facility is doing exactly what we built it to do. We’re seeing strong production output, high efficiency, and consistent product performance. Just as important, we’re in a great position to support additional volume and respond quickly to our West Coast customers.”
The operation began with 11 employees and has expanded by adding two more personnel. The company said the production site has maintained its existing workflow while increasing capacity. When the facility opened in 2021, it shipped about two truckloads of product daily, and the company stated shipments are expected to exceed that level as output increases.
The Arizona operation forms part of the company’s strategy to align manufacturing capacity with customer demand, while reducing freight costs and shortening delivery lead times.
