BE GREEN HEROES confirmed the launch of the 4th Annual International True Sustainability Competition 2026 in collaboration with Clean Recycling Initiative and HEAT-MX. The competition was previously known as the International Sustainability Marketing Competition (ISMC).
The competition is open to post secondary students worldwide and focuses on campaigns designed to raise public awareness about environmental misinformation driven by narratives based on surface-level perceptions rather than scientific foundation.
According to the organizers, the previous ISMC 2024 engaged nearly 1,500 students from 702 post secondary institutions across 120 countries. The 2026 edition will introduce Web3-based recognition for all registrants, competitors and winners, along with monetary prizes for winners.
Sae Chang said, “We are pleased to once again present this global event, now offering enhanced learning experiences and Web3 based recognition for all participants. We paused the competition in 2025 to focus on integrating it into the BE GREEN HEROES learning platform under the LEARN. EARN. ACT. principles. The result is a stronger program, where participants access free learning materials and earn certificates for Green Hero Coins (GHC), with tokens to be issued upon official launch.”
He added, “This truly innovative platform connects science based learning with recognition through Green Hero Coins and enables participants to engage in BGH’s operational decisions. While this competition is currently open to post secondary students, similar opportunities will soon be extended to the general public and high school students.”
Organizers said multiple information sessions will be held across three time zones to support participants and provide guidance. Further information is available at BE GREEN HEROES.
