Groupe GODET has deployed Centric Software’s Centric PXM platform to centralize and optimize the management of more than 33,000 technical product references across its business channels as part of its ongoing digital transformation strategy.
The French industrial equipment specialist, known for manufacturing and distributing solutions for lifting, pulling, securing, handling, and working at height, partnered with implementation specialist Numendo to strengthen product data governance, improve operational efficiency, and enhance customer experience.Founded in 1938, Groupe GODET supports clients operating in demanding industrial environments with a large technical product catalog. As the company expanded and accelerated its digital initiatives, it identified the need to structure and centralize complex product information to improve data reliability and streamline internal processes.
To address these challenges, Groupe GODET selected Centric PXM, which integrates Centric PIM (Product Information Management), Centric DAM (Digital Asset Management), Shoppingfeed content syndication, and Digital Shelf Analytics capabilities. The platform is designed to create a single centralized repository capable of transforming highly technical product data into strategic digital assets that support business performance and customer engagement across multiple channels.According to Soumaya Dridi, System & Data Manager at Groupe GODET, the implementation marks a significant step forward in improving operational performance and establishing a reliable data foundation to support long-term business growth.
“With this structuring effort, we now have a reliable data foundation, essential for supporting growth and offering our customers the digital experience they expect,” she stated. The new platform enables the company to structure, centralize, enrich, govern, and distribute product information more efficiently while supporting digital expansion objectives. As part of the project, Groupe GODET and Numendo collaborated to design a robust and scalable data model capable of reflecting the technical complexity and diversity of the company’s industrial catalog.
The architecture also improves governance and usability of product information for internal business teams while strengthening transparency and data quality for customers and partners. The project further incorporates Centric PXM’s ActiveJobs automation features to streamline workflows and improve operational efficiency across product data management functions.Charbel C., Data Consultant at Numendo, noted that the project’s complexity stemmed from the large number of technical attributes and multiple data sources involved in managing the product catalog.
“By establishing a coherent data model from the outset, we have transformed information flows into a strategic asset. Automation via ActiveJobs now allows data teams to focus on content quality,” he said.Fabrice Canonge, CEO of Centric Software, said the deployment highlights the growing need among industrial and technical companies for advanced product information management solutions capable of handling increasingly complex product ecosystems. He added that the collaboration between Centric Software, Numendo, and Groupe GODET lays the foundation for sustainable digital growth and improved operational agility.
The deployment reflects a broader trend among industrial manufacturers toward digital transformation, automation, centralized product data management, and enhanced omnichannel customer experiences.
