More than 600 exhibitors from 11 countries and regions are gathering in Shenzhen this week as Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 opens its doors at the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center in Futian from June 9-11.
Positioned in one of China’s most dynamic manufacturing and technology hubs, the co-located exhibitions are showcasing the latest developments in textile innovation, sustainability, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, while also celebrating traditional craftsmanship and heritage-inspired textile solutions.
Organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, the exhibitions cover approximately 45,000 square metres across Halls 1 and 9 and are expected to attract buyers from across China, the Greater Bay Area, Asia and international markets. Visitors will have access to a diverse range of products, from premium alpaca wool fabrics from Peru to innovative plant-based fibres and sustainable textile materials.
Wilmet Shea, General Manager of Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd, emphasized the importance of Shenzhen as a global center for both manufacturing and technological advancement.
“We are proud to give our exhibitors the opportunity to leverage the fashion potential in the heart of China’s current manufacturing and tech capital. Both shows will welcome domestic and international buyers looking to pair sustainable textile innovation with downstream technological progress,” Shea said.
Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics 2026 features an extensive range of fabric categories including cotton, wool, silk, linen, ramie, functional fabrics and performance textiles for womenswear, casualwear, denim, suiting, shirting, swimwear and lingerie applications.
Among the notable exhibitors are 3M China Limited, presenting its advanced Thinsulate insulation technology; Peru-based Incalpaca TPX SA, showcasing premium alpaca fibre collections; and Italian textile specialist Trabaldo Togna, displaying its latest superfine worsted wool fabrics and luxury tweeds.
The exhibition’s comprehensive fringe programme addresses key industry themes such as sustainability, technology adoption, design innovation and business growth strategies. Additional highlights include the S/S 2027 Fabrics China Trend Forum, sessions focused on digital transformation for small and medium-sized enterprises, and discussions examining industrial hemp as a sustainable raw material for future textile applications.
Running alongside the fabric exhibition, Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 presents innovations across natural, synthetic, sustainable and functional yarns and fibres. Exhibitors include Better International Holding (HK) Limited, featuring plant-based fibres derived from mint, tea, hemp and traditional Chinese herbs, as well as I Impact Fashion International Co Limited, making its debut with recycled polyester and organic cotton fibre solutions.
The yarn exhibition also hosts a series of industry-focused events, including the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum and the China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone, offering insights into next-generation fibre development and market trends.
Together with the concurrent PH Value exhibition for knitted fabrics, the events provide a comprehensive sourcing platform covering fibres, yarns, fabrics, accessories and garments. The combined exhibitions reinforce Shenzhen’s growing role as a center for textile innovation while offering industry stakeholders valuable opportunities to explore sustainable solutions, advanced technologies and emerging global market trends.
As the textile industry continues its transition toward smarter, greener and more technologically advanced production models, Intertextile Shenzhen 2026 serves as a key platform connecting manufacturers, brands, suppliers and innovators from across the global textile value chain.
