Yarn Expo Shenzhen 2026 concluded successfully after three days of business networking, product innovation, and knowledge exchange, reinforcing its position as a strategic sourcing platform for the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Held alongside Intertextile Shenzhen Apparel Fabrics and PH Value, the event attracted more than 20,000 visits from 74 countries and regions, highlighting growing international interest in South China’s textile supply chain.
The exhibition brought together nearly 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest developments in sustainable, functional, and value-added yarns and fibres. Visitors explored a comprehensive range of products across five key categories, including chemical fibres, cotton yarns, fancy yarns, regenerated yarns, and wool yarns, reflecting the industry’s accelerating shift toward environmentally responsible materials and high-performance textile solutions.
Sustainable Innovation Takes Center Stage
One of the exhibition’s major highlights was the strong emphasis on sustainable fibre innovation. Better International attracted significant attention with its Tempsense® bio-based temperature-regulating fibres and Collaskin® collagen fibres, while Jingyi Group showcased advanced Lyocell blended yarns, demonstrating how eco-friendly materials are becoming increasingly mainstream across the textile industry.
These innovations underline the industry’s growing commitment to reducing environmental impact while delivering improved comfort, durability, and functionality for modern apparel and textile applications.
Knowledge Sharing Supports Future Growth
Beyond product sourcing, Yarn Expo Shenzhen featured an extensive fringe programme focused on emerging textile technologies and sustainability trends.
Visitors explored the Tongkun – China Fibre Fashion Trends Display Zone and the Green Fibre Certification Display, which showcased market-ready sustainable materials and innovative fibre developments.
Industry experts also shared valuable insights during the New Fibre New World – Textile Materials Innovation Forum and the Green Fibre Eco-Forum, covering topics such as bio-based materials, recycling technologies, sustainability certifications, and future textile innovations.
Together with Intertextile Shenzhen’s Innovation Studio and Future Horizons Forum, the concurrent events created a comprehensive platform for collaboration across the textile value chain.
