During the meeting, the two sides discussed potential cooperation across mining, textiles, forestry and tourism. Yadav highlighted the state government’s transparent policies, land ownership regulations, labour reforms and protection mechanisms available to foreign investors.

He also shared the experience of UAE-based companies already operating in Madhya Pradesh and reiterated the state’s commitment to creating a conducive business environment.

Aviation Connectivity Also Discussed

Aviation connectivity and operations between the UAE and Madhya Pradesh featured prominently in the discussions.

Yadav outlined key provisions of the state’s aviation policy and sought greater cooperation to expand air operations between the two regions. Al Marri, who also chairs the UAE’s General Civil Aviation Authority, assured Yadav of support in expanding aviation operations between the UAE and Madhya Pradesh.

The proposed expansion is expected to strengthen tourism, cargo movement and business travel between the two destinations.

The Chief Minister also sought details about the UAE’s Hatta Economic Zone Development Project and its model for developing specialised industrial parks.

Yadav outlined the state’s efforts towards establishing modern industrial clusters and special economic zones and sought greater cooperation to expand operations between the two regions. Dubai’s experience in developing such economic zones was also discussed.

GIS Positioned as a Platform for UAE Investment

The meeting focused on translating the investment priorities discussed by both sides into concrete outcomes. Directions were issued for expediting the implementation of decisions taken during the meeting and earlier discussions on investment opportunities.

The proposed UAE investment delegation is expected to provide a platform for Dubai-based companies to assess opportunities in Madhya Pradesh’s hospitality and tourism ecosystem.
