American Circular Textiles, a public policy coalition representing over 30 circular fashion and apparel brands and stakeholders, has been named a Founding Partner of the inaugural Textile Recycling Expo USA. Scheduled for April 29–30, 2026, at the Charlotte Convention Center, the event will unite key players across the fashion, footwear, and textile value chain. Attendees will include recyclers, manufacturers, brands, policymakers, and innovators, all convening in Charlotte, North Carolina – the heartland of America’s textile industry.
Advancing Circular Policy in the U.S.
By bringing the success of this year’s Brussels event to the United States, the Textile Recycling Expo USA creates a platform for influential conversations about textile circularity. Moreover, as a Founding Partner, American Circular Textiles will amplify industry expertise, share research, and strengthen connections among changemakers working to make circular textile practices standard nationwide.
Rachel Kibbe, Founder & CEO of American Circular Textiles, said:
“We are honored to join Textile Recycling Expo USA as a Founding Partner to bring circular policy to the forefront of industry dialogue. This partnership underscores the importance of alignment among recyclers, manufacturers, brands, and policymakers to scale textile circularity nationwide.”
A Collaborative Platform for Change
Isobel Ree, Marketing Manager, Textile Recycling Expo Portfolio, added:
“We’re thrilled to welcome American Circular Textiles as a Founding Partner. Their leadership in advancing circular fashion policy and uniting key stakeholders perfectly reflects our mission – to create a collaborative, solutions-driven platform. Together, we will shape discussions that define the future of textile recycling and circularity across North America.”
Founded in 2022, American Circular Textiles provides a premier platform for the U.S. circular fashion and textile industry. The coalition enables leaders to exchange knowledge, collaborate, and influence circular textile policy. Recent initiatives include:
- Private sector leadership in G7 circular design actions
- Support for the launch of the bipartisan Recommerce Caucus
- Multi-state Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) efforts
- Consulting on the Americas Act, which would establish the first federal incentives for circular fashion if passed
