Archroma Unveils Eco Denim Tech at Global Trade Shows

Archroma Reimagines Iconic Denim for a Cleaner Future
Pratteln, Switzerland, May 19, 2025 – Archroma, a global leader in specialty chemicals, is set to spotlight its latest denim dyeing and processing innovations at two major industry events: Denim Première Vision Milan (May 21–22) and Denimsandjeans Vietnam (June 25–26).

As the environmental impact of traditional denim production comes under greater scrutiny, Archroma is leading the shift toward more sustainable practices. At both shows, the company will present DENIM HALO, a cutting-edge pretreatment and dyeing process that enables mills to create high-contrast, distressed denim looks with lower environmental impact—reducing water, energy use, and eliminating harmful chemicals like potassium permanganate.

Key innovations include:

  • DIRESUL® EVOLUTION BLACK: Archroma’s cleanest sulfur black dyestuff, offering a 57% lower impact during synthesis.*
  • DENISOL® PURE INDIGO 30: Aniline-free** indigo with authentic denim color performance.
  • EarthColors®: Biowaste-based dyes made from non-edible food and agricultural waste, contributing to a circular economy.

Visitors will also see a new capsule collection of Black Denim, produced with DENIM HALO, DIRESUL® EVOLUTION BLACK, premium Kipas Denim fabric, and Jeanologia’s water-saving finishing technology.

Meet Archroma at:

  • Denim Première Vision Milan – Booth A25, Superstudio Più, May 21–22
  • Denimsandjeans Vietnam – Booth 06, Riverside Palace, June 25–26
