Arvind Limited has appointed Saurabh Jain as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for its garment business. The company, known for its textile and technology operations, supplies garments to major global brands alongside its fabrics portfolio.
In his new role, Jain will oversee the finance strategy for the garment division. His responsibilities include cost rationalisation, improving structural margins, strengthening profitability, and reinforcing financial discipline across operations. He will also focus on enhancing risk management systems and advancing digital finance processes to support faster, insight-driven decision-making. Building a strong finance leadership team within the division is another key part of his mandate.
Nigam Shah, CFO of Arvind Ltd., welcomed the appointment, noting that Jain’s “proven track record and multi-industry experience” will support the ongoing transformation of the garment business and create long-term value for stakeholders.
Jain expressed enthusiasm about joining the company, highlighting Arvind’s combination of “innovation, heritage, and purpose” and stating his commitment to driving financial excellence throughout the division.
He brings more than 17 years of leadership experience across textiles, manufacturing, retail, e-commerce, IT, real estate, and insurance. His career has included work in financial strategy, operational improvement, automation, digitisation, turnaround initiatives, and credit financing. Before joining Arvind, he served as Vice President, Finance – Enterprise Operations at Welspun Living Ltd.
An alumnus of ISB and IIT Kanpur, Jain is known for his focus on business growth, digital finance transformation, and the development of high-performing teams.
