Avgol Enhances U.S. Operations with New Lamination Line in Mocksville
Global nonwoven fabric leader Avgol has upgraded its Mocksville, North Carolina facility with a state-of-the-art lamination line, part of a $100 million investment aimed at expanding production capabilities for the medical and hygiene sectors.
The new line features advanced lamination and web inspection technology from Nordson, enabling Avgol to manufacture three-layer laminated fabrics with greater strength, consistency, and precision. These materials are used in key products such as medical gowns, bed pads, and hygiene items, helping the company meet rising demand for high-quality nonwovens.
“This investment strengthens our ability to deliver innovative, high-performance solutions to our customers,” said Moshe Yehezkel, Avgol’s Global Head of Manufacturing.
The expansion reaffirms Avgol’s commitment to U.S. manufacturing and its leadership in supplying next-generation nonwoven fabrics across critical industries.
