Since its debut at ITMA Asia + CITME 2025, Barmag’s latest texturing solution, the eFK EvoSmart, has recorded strong market traction, reinforcing its position as a next-generation machine for energy-efficient and cost-effective yarn production. The new platform has already secured orders for 84 machines across key textile manufacturing hubs including China, Turkey and Indonesia, reflecting widespread industry confidence in the technology.
The eFK EvoSmart is designed to meet growing global demand for sustainable production and operational efficiency. Yarn producers are increasingly prioritising reduced energy consumption, lower maintenance requirements and consistent yarn quality — areas where the machine delivers measurable performance gains.

A key differentiator of the eFK EvoSmart is the integration of EvoHeater heating technology with single-converter-controlled Smart Godets. This combination enables energy savings of up to 25 percent per kilogram of yarn, contributing directly to lower operating costs.
The redesigned EvoHeater simplifies cleaning and maintenance processes, even with its closed construction, while significantly improving operator handling. Maintenance intervals are doubled, leading to up to 50 percent lower maintenance effort, higher machine availability and increased overall productivity.
These advantages translate into smoother downstream processes in weaving, knitting and finishing, where consistent yarn quality is essential for operational stability and output performance.
