Bombay Dyeing Reports 83% Drop in Q4 Profit for FY25

Bombay Dyeing & Manufacturing Company Ltd. has reported a sharp decline in its financial results for the fourth quarter ending March 2025. The company’s net profit fell by 82.6% to ₹11.54 crore, compared to ₹66.46 crore during the same quarter last year. Total income also decreased by 12.42%, from ₹451.58 crore to ₹395.47 crore.

For the full fiscal year 2024–25, net profit dropped by 83.4% to ₹490.16 crore, down from ₹2,948.63 crore in FY24. The prior year’s profit had been significantly boosted by exceptional gains from land parcel sales, a factor absent in the current fiscal year. Annual income also declined by 3.72%, settling at ₹1,732.34 crore.

Despite the downturn, the board has recommended a 60% final dividend, amounting to ₹1.20 per equity share of ₹2 each. Following the announcement, Bombay Dyeing shares closed at ₹132.80 on the BSE, reflecting a 2.04% drop from the previous close.Bombay Dyeing Reports 83% Drop in Q4 Profit for FY25
