CIRCULOSE®, a next-generation material created entirely from discarded textiles, has announced a partnership with TextileGenesis, a Lectra company, to embed full supply chain traceability into its solution offering for fashion brands.
As part of the collaboration, every kilo of CIRCULOSE® pulp will now be digitally tracked from pulp to finished product, with the long-term goal of extending traceability even further upstream. This enables brands to have verified, data-driven visibility to support circularity claims, strengthen consumer trust, and prepare for evolving regulatory requirements.
“As the industry shifts to preferred and circular materials, strong traceability is critical to ensure integrity of sustainability claims,” said Jonatan Janmark, CEO of Circulose. “By embedding traceability through TextileGenesis as part of our integrated solution, we make traceability easy for all brands that are buying CIRCULOSE®.”
The traceability system is powered by TextileGenesis’ Fibercoin™ technology, which assigns a unique digital token to each unit of CIRCULOSE®. Every transformation step across the supply chain is recorded, preventing double-counting and ensuring a secure, real-time chain of custody from pulp to garment.
“TextileGenesis enables brands and producers to ensure a secure, transparent, and fully digital mapping of CIRCULOSE® material flows,” said Amit Gautam, Founder and CEO of TextileGenesis. “Together, we are proving that traceability is not a future ambition. It is a present-day reality.”
This partnership reflects Circulose’s commitment to being more than a pulp supplier. Through its CIRCULOSE® Forward platform, traceability is now offered as the fourth integrated solution, joining its existing three solutions. With integrated traceability and a licensing-based pricing model, Circulose makes it easier for fashion brands to transition from virgin fibers to scalable circular material solutions. All brands purchasing CIRCULOSE® will now have access to full traceability powered by TextileGenesis.
