On the second day of his Spain tour, Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav is set to strengthen global partnerships in the textile sector with a clear focus on sustainable investments and technology collaboration. In La Coruna, Spain’s hub of textile and fashion innovation, his engagements aim to position Madhya Pradesh as a premier destination for textile and apparel manufacturing for both European and global brands.
CM Dr. Yadav will highlight Madhya Pradesh’s robust policy support, state-of-the-art infrastructure, and skilled manpower while showcasing the PM Mega Integrated Textile Region and Apparel (PM MITRA) Park. He will invite sustainable, technology-driven investment and elaborate on the state’s incentives for export-oriented textile production, its environmental compliance frameworks, and the emerging opportunities in both synthetic and natural fiber ecosystems.

A key highlight of the visit is his tour of the Inditex headquarters in La Coruna – home to global brands such as Zara, Pull&Bear, and Massimo Dutti – where he will promote MP as a production hub for European brands, explore technology transfer and sustainable manufacturing practices, and seek collaborations on skill development, R&D, and sourcing from MP-based units.
In addition, CM Yadav will engage with local government officials and the Chamber of Commerce of La Coruna to bolster institutional cooperation and explore bilateral trade opportunities. A scheduled site visit to leading Spanish textile companies will provide insight into best practices in production, logistics, and innovation.
The MP delegation, including senior officials from MPIDC and the state’s investment promotion agencies, will also pitch investment opportunities in textile and garment manufacturing, greenfield projects at PM MITRA Park, technical textiles, dyeing and finishing clusters, and export zones with advanced logistics infrastructure. A networking lunch is planned to facilitate one-on-one discussions on specific investment proposals.
Following these strategic engagements, CM Yadav will depart for Barcelona, where further meetings are arranged to discuss tourism, education, and innovations in other sectors.
