Eurofins Assurance has announced that its India office has been officially accredited by IOAS as a Certification Body for the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and Textile Exchange (TE) programmes. This milestone reflects Eurofins’ ongoing commitment to sustainability and excellence in certification services across the textile industry.
Following a rigorous assessment, various Eurofins Assurance offices—particularly the one in India—have been recognized for their competence in delivering certifications related to organic, recycled, and sustainable textiles. With this new accreditation, Eurofins is now authorized to provide certifications for a broad suite of standards, including:
- GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard)
- Textile Exchange
- GRS (Global Recycled Standard)
- OCS (Organic Content Standard)
- RCS (Recycled Claim Standard)
- CCS (Content Claim Standard)
These services will be offered across Asia and Europe, with future expansion plans in place.
To enhance efficiency and transparency, Eurofins Assurance will also launch Impact Trace, a digital certification management platform for GOTS and Textile Exchange programs. The platform will allow clients to manage bookings, upload documents, track certification progress, and download audit reports and transaction certificates—all in one place.
This accreditation reinforces Eurofins Assurance’s leadership in promoting traceability, integrity, and sustainability across global supply chains.
