We are pleased to inform you that FICCI in collaboration with CSIR-CRRI, is organizing “International Conference on Steel Slag Road: A Sustainable Green Infrastructure Transforming Waste to Wealth” on 10th April 2024 at The Lalit Hotel, New Delhi. This conference is also supported by Ministry of Steel, Niti Aayog, Indian Steel Association and International Road Federation.
The conference focuses on the innovative use of steel slag in road construction as a means of promoting sustainable development and addressing waste management challenges. Steel slag, a byproduct of steel production, has traditionally been viewed as a waste material requiring disposal. However, advancements in technology and engineering have revealed its potential as a valuable resource for various applications, particularly in the construction industry.
Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Minister of Steel & Civil AviationGovernment of India has been invited to grace the occasion.
