Expansion with 3 new spunlace lines in China 

May 2025 – International technology group ANDRITZ has received a significant order from Chinese nonwovens manufacturer Alear Silk Road New Materials Co., Ltd. to supply three complete neXline aXcess spunlace crosslapped lines for nonwoven production.

This strategic investment supports the rapid expansion of Alear Silk Road and strengthens the nonwovens sector in the Alear area of Xinjiang province.

The new lines will process viscose and cotton fibers, focusing on producing high-quality nonwovens for the hygiene and medical markets. ANDRITZ’s fully integrated spunlace lines will provide excellent web uniformity, high tensile strength, and high production rates—ensuring Alear Silk Road can meet growing market demand with efficiency.

The lines will include Profile® crosslappers, designed to optimize fiber distribution while reducing operational costs. Start-up is expected in Q4 2025.
