The shift to Fiera Milano Rho reflects Filo’s commitment to scaling up and aligning with major global standards, a direction reinforced by its recent inclusion in the IT EX Association—a network of premier international trade fairs in Italy. The new venue offers a more modern, spacious, and efficiently designed environment, better suited to accommodate the fair’s evolving needs and broader international scope.
This relocation and the updated dates are part of a broader growth initiative, designed to position Filo more prominently on the international textile trade calendar. It also anticipates the increased global interest surrounding the Milano-Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics, which is expected to draw worldwide attention to Italian excellence and innovation.
Paolo Monfermoso, Filo’s manager, highlighted that the late-September timing better aligns with the business cycles of yarn and textile manufacturers, which operate at the upstream level of the supply chain. Holding Filo during a week packed with complementary textile events in Milan enhances synergies and offers exhibitors and visitors an optimized experience, attracting buyers and professionals from across the globe.
