FiltXPO™ 2026 Opens Call for Abstracts for Advances in Filtration Conference

INDA, the Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, in collaboration with AFS, the American Filtration and Separations Society, has officially announced the call for conference presentations for the Advances in Filtration Conference, scheduled to take place on October 28–29, 2026, as part of FiltXPO™ 2026 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

The two-day technical conference will bring together filtration professionals from industry, academia, and research institutions to exchange insights on cutting-edge developments shaping the future of filtration and separation technologies. The event is designed to foster cross-sector collaboration while showcasing innovative research and real-world applications across multiple filtration domains.

Abstract Submissions Now Open

Filtration experts are invited to submit abstracts presenting original research, emerging technologies, and applied solutions relevant to the evolving filtration landscape. Abstract submissions are now open and can be completed through the AFS website.

Key Conference Focus Areas

Abstracts are encouraged across a wide range of advanced filtration topics, including:

  • Artificial intelligence applications in filtration and data center environments
  • Filtration solutions supporting e-mobility and battery technologies
  • Nonwoven filtration media for water treatment and PFAS removal
  • Sustainability-driven and environmentally responsible filtration innovations

These focus areas reflect the growing convergence of digitalization, sustainability, and high-performance materials within the global filtration industry.

Presentation Formats and Review Process

The Advances in Filtration Conference will feature both oral presentations and technical poster sessions. All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process conducted by the Conference Planning Committee. Presentation formats will be assigned based on technical merit, relevance, and overall program balance. Both oral and poster presentations are considered equally valuable to the technical agenda.

Technical Poster Program Returns

Following strong engagement and participation at FiltXPO 2025, the 2026 conference will once again include a dedicated technical poster program. This format offers subject matter experts, research organizations, and early-career researchers an interactive platform to present detailed findings, innovative concepts, and exploratory research in a collaborative setting.

How to Participate

Detailed submission guidelines and the abstract submission portal are available through the AFS website.

Submission Deadline

All abstracts must be submitted by April 3, 2026. Submissions received by the deadline will be reviewed by the Conference Planning Committee as part of the formal selection process.
