At 2024 GITEX Expand North Star, Green Tech Accelerator participated in Taiwan Startup Night.
The Green Tech Accelerator collaborates with entrepreneurs to concentrate on circular packaging, smart driving technologies chosen from Taiwan, and the recycling of textile waste. Green Tech Accelerator helps enterprises meet carbon reduction targets and transition to a more sustainable future by utilising global markets and technological advancements.
Innovation in Textile Recycling: Turning Trash into Treasure
Strongwises: Creating Sustainable Building Materials from Textile Waste
Strongwises turns recycled clothing into “E F Wood,” an environmentally beneficial building material that may be used for floors and roofing. The business has effectively expanded into foreign markets and has teamed up with McDonald’s to recycle plastic containers and used clothing to build circular hardwood paths. The team has obtained funding, technical certifications, and market growth prospects with the help of Green Tech Accelerator. They also have plans to set up a demonstration facility in Singapore to further promote the circular economy’s uses.
Pade: Accurate Textile Sorting Using Optical Technology
Pade greatly increases recycling rates by using optical technology to address the problem of sorting worn clothing. The team learnt about worldwide exhibition potential and carbon reduction after joining Green Tech Accelerator. With the goal of accelerating the creation of a textile circular economy from the upstream recycling process, they have expanded their technology to include smart recycling bins and portable sorting devices.
Innovative Circular Packaging Options: Cutting Waste and Growing Global Markets
PackAge+: Supply Chain for Circular Packaging
With a focus on circular packaging technologies, PackAge+ helps companies like TSMC cut carbon emissions and incorporate the findings into ESG reports. The team launched Series A funding and successfully entered the Middle Eastern market with the help of Green Tech Accelerator. They intend to improve business-to-business apps and use the circular economy solution in real-world situations.
Renouvo: Converting Agricultural Waste into Sustainable Goods
Renouvo uses green energy to reduce their carbon footprint by turning agricultural waste, such as coffee grinds and sugarcane bagasse, into biodegradable straws and cutlery. Since 80% of their sales are exported to Europe, Green Tech Accelerator assisted the team in expanding their “negative carbon” idea and gaining access to the Middle Eastern market. In the food business, they intend to replace plastic bags with waterproof sugarcane bags.
Autonomous Services with Lower Labour and Carbon Emissions: A Smart Driving Solution
Turing Drive: Automation to Reduce Carbon Emissions and Increase Energy Efficiency
Turing Drive offers operations management and autonomous driving solutions that may be used at ports, beautiful locations, and other locations. These methods lower carbon emissions while increasing efficiency. The team demonstrated the technology’s worldwide competitiveness by collaborating with local transportation businesses, successfully entering the Japanese market, and using data to quantify the consequences of carbon reduction while working with Green Tech Accelerator.
In the future, Green Tech Accelerator will keep pushing for the adoption of carbon reduction strategies in important sectors by collaborating with global net-zero resources and trends and combining a variety of green technologies for optimal effect. In keeping with laws that support sustainable manufacturing, greenhouse gas reduction, and industrial reform, our In addition to deploying energy-saving and carbon-reducing solutions at real-world demonstration locations, cooperative efforts will enable supply-side entrepreneurs to improve their marketing and research and development skills, as well as optimise their business models and value propositions. We will provide demand-side clients full ESG resources, strong carbon management plans, green supply chain certification, and a solid basis for the creation of future carbon credits.
