Groz-Beckert Unveils Textile Innovations at ITMA Asia 2025

Innovations Across Six Divisions

Knitting

In Circular Knitting, the focus will be on LCmax™, the next-generation energy-saving needle. Its wave-shaped shank design cuts friction, boosts efficiency, and simplifies handling — delivering top performance with lower energy use.

Working with PAILUNG, Groz-Beckert introduces two innovative systems — a transfer needle and a compound needle.

  • The transfer needle Vo-Spec. 94.41-30 G 0010 sets a new benchmark with just 0.30 mm thickness and a 0.15 mm transfer clip, ideal for ultra-fine fabrics.
  • The new compound needle enhances productivity and reliability, even when running at high speeds or processing demanding yarns.

For staple fiber yarns, the SAN™ SF needle and SNK SF sinker combination reduces contamination and lengthens cleaning intervals.

Flat Knitting, Groz-Beckert will present:

  • The SAN™ TT for tight loops in technical and medical textiles.
  • The SAN™ FY, designed for uneven effect yarns, ensuring a flawless surface finish.

In Legwear, dur™ needles deliver durability and precision for fine hosiery, while new toe-closing components ensure uniform loop transfer and a smooth finish.

In Warp Knitting, the brand unveils a new guide needle for Piezo-Jacquard machines, offering improved precision, stability, and efficiency.

Weaving

At ITMA Asia 2025, Groz-Beckert’s Weaving division highlights its precision accessories — including heald frames, healds, warp stop motions, drop wires, and reeds. These components, known for accuracy and compatibility, help achieve smooth production across fashion, home, and technical textiles.

The Groz-Beckert reeds stand out for their versatility. They deliver consistent results in both high-speed weaving and complex technical applications.

Another key attraction is the KnotMaster tying machine, offering automated functions, an intuitive touchscreen, and LED lighting. Its modular design and material flexibility — from cotton to glass — help reduce downtime and boost productivity.

Thanks to its global network of subsidiaries and service hubs, Groz-Beckert ensures timely delivery and responsive support worldwide.

Nonwovens

The Nonwovens division presents advanced tools for needling and carding. A new barb design for felting needles reduces wear and clogging when processing abrasive fibers.

In card clothing, the InLine series features SiroLock™ plus worker and doffer wires, which improve machine uptime and ensure high-quality carding performance.

Tufting

In Tufting, Groz-Beckert introduces a precision gauge part system for carpets, bath mats, and artificial turf. The system’s optimized design — including needle, looper, and reed finger modules — delivers perfect surface quality and durability.

Sewing

The Sewing division highlights SAN™ special application needles, developed for modern sewing needs:

  • SAN™ 5.2 for airbags and technical textiles.
  • SAN™ 6 for denim, with durable GEBEDUR™ coating.
  • SAN™ 10 / 10 XS for delicate knits.
  • SAN™ 17, designed for high-speed or dense materials, minimizing heat and friction.

The division also presents INH (Ideal Needle Handling), a patented digital management system. It combines smart hardware and software — like INH@site, INH@office, and INH@Stock — for safe, traceable, and efficient needle management.

Spinning

For the Spinning sector, Groz-Beckert introduces a maintenance-free cylinder wire that cuts maintenance costs and extends lifespan. It also features revolving tops for fine yarns and stationary flats with a new aluminum profile, ensuring precision and durability.
