Led by Samuel Gerber, Head of Textile Technology, the team at Heberlein boasts over 150 years of collective experience. Whether customers aim to reproduce a yarn from a sample or optimize production with limited resources, Heberlein provides effective, profitable, and sustainable solutions. “We accept every challenge and strive to match or improve the requested yarn quality,” says Gerber.
Jet performance validation is another key area. Technicians conduct on-site trials at spinning mills using test jets to meet targeted performance—often reducing energy usage or improving yarn characteristics such as knot density, strength, or uniformity.
Heberlein also actively supports new product development. Clients benefit from hands-on collaboration, access to modern lab equipment, and trusted guidance during prototyping. Recent work on the APe DTY series resulted in major air savings—an example of successful R&D and customer partnership.
