Heimtextil, the world’s leading trade fair for home and contract textiles and textile design, is set to significantly strengthen its presence in the global hospitality and contract interiors segment through a new strategic partnership with Hospitality Interiors Europe (HINT). Announced on 7 January 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, the collaboration will officially launch alongside Heimtextil 2027, introducing a dedicated, complementary platform tailored to the high-end hospitality design sector.
The partnership brings together Heimtextil’s extensive global reach, textile expertise and material innovation with Hospitality Interiors Europe’s specialised focus on premium hospitality environments. From 2027, Hospitality Interiors Europe will take place in its own dedicated hall alongside Heimtextil, offering a curated platform for decision-makers from interior architecture, project development, and hospitality interior design. Target segments include hotels, resorts, wellness and spa facilities, extended-stay concepts and care environments.
Hospitality Interiors Europe will already make its first appearance at Heimtextil 2026 through a dedicated lounge area, giving exhibitors and visitors early insight into the upcoming collaboration and fostering networking ahead of the full launch in 2027.
The new format is designed to enhance Heimtextil’s holistic interior design offering by addressing the growing importance of hospitality and contract interiors as key growth drivers for the global textile industry. While Heimtextil represents international scale and comprehensive textile solutions, Hospitality Interiors Europe adds a focused hospitality lens, presenting premium product worlds and real-world application contexts.
“With hospitality interiors becoming an increasingly important market, textiles play a central role in shaping guest experience and brand differentiation. At Heimtextil, textiles are our core strength. Together with Hospitality Interiors Europe, we are creating a powerful platform that brings together innovative, high-end hospitality design and global textile expertise. This partnership expands our contract business reach and opens new opportunities for architects, designers and project developers worldwide,” said Olaf Schmidt, Vice President Textiles & Textile Technologies at Messe Frankfurt.
Hospitality Interiors Europe is organised by Strive Exhibitions, founded by Toby Walters and Sam Murray, the team behind Cruise Ship Interiors Expo. Their experience and strong international hospitality network further reinforce the partnership’s global relevance.
A new hospitality design hub will emerge with Hospitality Interiors Europe, featuring curated manufacturer showcases, premium design concepts and an exclusive congress programme. The programme will bring together international experts to explore trends, innovations and project developments shaping the future of hospitality interiors, while facilitating meaningful exchange between designers, suppliers, operators and developers.
“Sam and I are truly excited to be launching Hospitality Interiors Europe in Frankfurt in 2027. HINT will become the new global meeting place for the entire hospitality design community, bringing together designers, suppliers, operators, and developers from the hotel, resort, care, wellness, and extended stay markets. Partnering with industry-leading Heimtextil gives both audiences unparalleled access to the latest products. We believe this marks the start of something truly special for the sector – a chance to connect, collaborate, and shape the future of hospitality design together,” said Toby Walters, CEO, Strive Exhibitions.
The collaboration creates strong synergies for both exhibitors and visitors. Heimtextil attendees gain direct access to premium hospitality design solutions and industry leaders, while exhibitors from both platforms benefit from exposure to new, high-value target audiences within the luxury hospitality segment.
Heimtextil 2026 will take place from 13 to 16 January 2026 in Frankfurt am Main, marking the first visible step in this strategic partnership ahead of the full launch of Hospitality Interiors Europe in 2027.
