Hero MotoCorp and ASDC Empower Women Through Project Saksham Phase 2
Hero MotoCorp, in partnership with the Automotive Skills Development Council (ASDC), has launched the second phase of its CSR initiative, Project Saksham, in Agra. The program seeks to skill 20,000 women across India for roles in the automotive industry, covering areas such as sales, servicing, and electric vehicle (EV) technology.
The launch event, held at PMKK Agra in collaboration with NIFA Infocom Services, was attended by dignitaries including Agra Mayor Hemlata Divakar Kushwaha and ASDC Vice President Vinkesh Gulati. Both emphasized the importance of empowering women to be future leaders in the mobility sector.
Phase 2 not only extends the program’s reach but also includes modules in soft skills, workplace readiness, and financial literacy—ensuring well-rounded development for participants.
